These drawings zoom in on specific areas of your carpentry, providing close-up views and exact measurements. This applies to every carpentry item in your house be it shoe cabinet, TV cabinet, kitchen cabinets etc.

Imagine if something screws up during installation, isn’t it good to have this black and white to refer back to? 

Homeowners are usually the ones on the losing end if any major rectification is needed, so it’s always better for both ID and homeowner to have the detailed drawings to refer to even before fabrication and installation start. 

Make sure you check through the detailed drawings thoroughly before giving the green light to fabricate.

All good IDs will definitely provide their clients with the full carpentry drawings for every carpentry item in the reno. 

If they don’t, you better ask them for it before fabrication starts.
