Carpentry 101

There are usually 2 parts to it - 1) fabrication and 2) installation. 

Fabrication of the main frame of your carpentry is done in the workshop before they wrap it up nicely and transport the whole thing to your house for installation.

How long does it take? Normally the entire process takes roughly 3 weeks (2 weeks for fabrication and 1 week for installation). 

So you can use this as a guideline when keeping track of your reno progress.

Because carpentry is usually the last thing that goes up, fabrication must start at least 3 weeks before your handover date. Otherwise confirm cannot finish on time.
