Always ask for discount! (But max twice)

Your ID has probably prepared for this already anyway.

Watch our tiktok channel if you lazy to read.

There are two types of homeowners. One that will ask for discount. And another that won’t, because they “paiseh”.

This article is for the latter group.

Always, ask for discount.

Often we have seen homeowners shortlisting till 2 IDs. They actually prefer the one that is slightly more expensive.

But because they “paiseh” to ask for discount, they sometimes end up choosing the cheaper ID.

Just ask the more expensive ID, or any ID, for discount.

Being in the sales industry, the IDs are already mentally prepared to offer you a discount.

Don’t waste their efforts. After all, it is your hard-earned money.

Thereafter, you can make a more educated choice of which ID or contractor to go with.

However, don’t push it too far.

Ask for discount max 2 times.

If you constantly ask the ID for more and more discount, you are placing a seed of doubt in their mind.

You might either be difficult to deal with, or you might owe them the leftover payments at the end of the renovation, both of which cause major headaches to them.

This might cause them to back away from you, and you in turn lose an ID that you can trust and click with, all for the sake of saving a few cents on the dollar.

It is not easy to find an ID that fit you. Don’t let this cloud your judgement!! They should not be ripping you off, but at the same time you need to let them earn enough to be motivated to do a good job for you (sadly, it is that transactional).
